Participation was made in the "Waste Management and Sustainable Solutions in Universities" meeting organized by Ege University on 2 April 2026. The meeting focused on effective waste management practices in higher education institutions, the promotion of the zero waste approach, improvements in recycling processes, and recent developments in sustainable campus initiatives.

During the program, participants shared best practices for strengthening environmental sustainability at universities and discussed strategies for the efficient use of resources, waste reduction, and increasing environmental awareness. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on enhancing collaboration among universities, promoting knowledge and experience sharing, and expanding the implementation of sustainable waste management policies.

The meeting served as an important platform for sharing current knowledge and practical approaches that will contribute to the further development of environmental management and sustainability initiatives in higher education institutions.
